My name is Sheldon Moss, and I am a Deacon at Calvary, primarily responsible for the janitorial staff and maintenance of the building.
I was born and raised in Antigo, WI. I have 3 older brothers (Francis, Gene, Keith) and 1 older sister (Valerie). I have one younger brother (Christopher) who is with the Lord as are my parents. I met Sue, my wife of 40 years as of September 29, 2009, during my Junior year of high school. I graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran HS in Appleton, WI., and attended Fox Valley Technical Institute, studying Business Administration and Majoring in Accounting. I have 2 sons, Christopher (wife Michelle) and Trenton (wife Maurita) and 5 grandchildren (Carter, Evan, Noah, Isaac and Aleah). I worked in Retail Management for 33+ years and stepped out of it in 2004. I now work for United Health Group as a Claims Processor. I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1966, achieved pay grades in minimum time with all outstanding Airman Performance Reports and was honorably discharged as a Senior Airman Sergeant in 1972. I serve the Lord on the Deacon Board at Calvary, am on a worship team, and I am part of a Shepherd Group. I enjoy going to football, baseball and basketball games. When I was able, I played softball my entire life, starting in grade school with the church men’s league. I enjoy deer hunting and fishing and look forward to trying turkey hunting sometime. I enjoy having good clean fun with others and enjoy getting to know people. God has truly been active in my life and I give Him all the praise and glory for it.
